Retail sales executive job Summary – As a GPIL Digital centre Sales Associate you are responsible for delivering a transformational customer experience, building our brand one customer at a time and ultimately driving our business through sales. You should demonstrate a strong commitment to service, a genuine curiosity and interest in people, authenticity, and exceptional selling skills. The ideal candidate also understands how to be a team player, is savvy about the visual and operational aspects of the role, and is committed to loss prevention.

Retail Salesperson Job Duties

Welcomes customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.
Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items.
Advises customers by providing information on products.
Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.
Documents sale by creating or updating customer profile records.
Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash or other mode of payment.
Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Retail Salesperson Skills and Qualifications-

Listening, Customer Service, Meeting Sales Goals, Selling to Customer Needs, Product Knowledge, People Skills, Energy Level, Dependability, General Math Skills, Verbal Communication, and Job Knowledge.

Education Graduate

Experience Minimum 1 Year Sales Floor Experience in Consumer Durable & Home Appliances in retail sector, or Supermarket.

Reporting Line Reports to the Retail Supervisor through the Business Development Manager.

Work Location Benin City, Edo State/ Sapele, Delta State.
